Portrait of Yvonne Printemps - Edouard Vuillard - Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
Choose Portrait of Yvonne Printemps as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Edouard Vuillard's original. Our artists rebuild the figurative composition stroke by stroke, producing post-impressionist canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
The Story Behind the Painting
1921
Oil and distemper on canvas
129.5 cm (50.98 in.) x 97 cm (38.19 in.)
Private collection.
The figurative subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of post-impressionist oil painting wall decor.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
