Priam by Emilius-Cressida, winner of the derby - John Frederick Herring Sr - Refined Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
Priam by Emilius-Cressida, winner of the derby - John Frederick Herring Sr - Refined Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
1830
Oil on Canvas
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other refined wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Materials matter for refined wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
