Saint Jacques le Majeur by El Greco

Saint Jacques le Majeur - El Greco - Old Master Fine Art Reproduction

About This Piece

Looking for fine art oil painting with real brushwork? Saint Jacques le Majeur is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after El Greco. The result is a piece of classical oil painting wall decor that anchors a gallery wall and rewards a closer look.

The Story Behind the Painting

c.1610-14
Oil on canvas

As gallery wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other classical wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Materials matter for classical wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
