About the Artwork
circa 1751-1752
Oil on canvas
National Portrait Gallery, London, United Kingdom.
As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other classical wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
How It Is Made
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
What Is Included
- Every wildlife canvas is hand painted in oils; no mechanical or digital reproduction at any stage.
- Edges include an additional 2-inch blank allowance, ideal for gallery wrapping or framing.
- Direct-from-studio worldwide delivery with no third-party resellers.
- Available canvas sizes for this hand painted oil painting: 20 X 24 in, 24 X 36 in, 30 X 40 in, 36 X 48 in, 48 X 72 in.
- Choose from standard sizes or request a custom dimension to fit your wall.
- Multiple low-cost carriers available, including DHL, UPS, FedEx and USPS.
- Free canvas stretching on wooden stretcher bars; custom framing available on request.
- A digital photo of your finished painting is emailed for approval before shipment.
