Shinnecock Hills (A View of Shinnecock) - William Merritt Chase - Oil Painting
At a Glance
Shinnecock Hills (A View of Shinnecock) by William Merritt Chase is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a gallery wall, study, or reception area.
The Story Behind the Painting
1891
Oil on panel
Wadsworth Athaneum, United States.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of elegant oil painting wall decor.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
