Simon the Cyrenian and His Two Sons Alexander and Rufus - James Tissot - Oil Painting for Bedroom
At a Glance
Upgrade your walls with Simon the Cyrenian and His Two Sons Alexander and Rufus - James Tissot - Oil Painting for Bedroom. Every fine art reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.
The Story Behind the Painting
Simon de Cyrène et ses deux fils, Alexandre et Rufus
1886-1894
Opaque watercolor over graphite on gray wove paper
Brooklyn Museum, United States.
As bedroom wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other heritage wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
