Sir David Richmond - John Singer Sargent - Oil Painting brings gallery-caliber art into everyday spaces. This fine art oil painting is a 100% hand painted oil painting on canvas, created for buyers who want genuine realist canvas wall art instead of a mass-produced poster or paper print.
circa 1899
Oil on canvas
243.8 cm (95.98 in.) x 134.6 cm (52.99 in.)
Glasgow Art Gallery and Museum, Scotland.
As dining room wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other realist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Sir David Richmond by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this fine art oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a dining room an instant focal point. Its realist palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
In short: Sir David Richmond - John Singer Sargent - Oil Painting combines a realist composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for fine art oil painting and dining room wall art.
