Still Life with Fruit, Jug and Red Cloth - Alexej von Jawlensky - Canvas Oil Painting

Product Overview

Still Life with Fruit, Jug and Red Cloth by Alexej von Jawlensky is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a home office, study, or reception area.

The Story Behind the Painting

circa 1908-1910
Oil on cardboard
Von Der Heydt Museum, Germany.

As office wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other timeless wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.

Materials & Craftsmanship

This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Still Life with Fruit, Jug and Red Cloth by eye and build up the still life forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished still life oil painting its luminosity.
