Upgrade your walls with Tahoma, The Eternal - William Wendt - Fine Art Oil Painting. Every fine art reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.

The mountain Tahoma, or Mount Rainier as it is also known, is the tallest peak in the Cascade Mountain range. On a clear day the snow-capped peak can be seen in a hundred miles in any direction and remains an important landmark to the people of Washington. Painted during one of the artist's trips to the Cascades, Tahoma, The Eternal, bathes the mountain in a warm glow of light. The canvas is dominated by the mountain at its center, sculpted for the viewer by millennia of ice and wind. Blankets of snow cover the fore and mid-grounds as well as the mountain with only scattered patches of green trees and grass asserting its presence. The patchy clouds with a hint of a storm on the right of the canvas add a touch of uncertainty to an otherwise stoic scene. Wendt's strong brushstrokes and majestic lighting hint that no matter the weather or the passage of time, the mountain will remain, steadfast.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of classic oil painting wall decor.
Expect subtle, hand-made variation rather than factory uniformity. Each fine art canvas is painted with oils, allowed to cure properly, and inspected before it is approved for shipment.
Wondering where fine art oil painting looks best? Try a living room mantel, a dining room sideboard, or a hallway gallery wall. The fine art subject reads clearly from a distance and rewards close viewing up near.
Order Tahoma, The Eternal as a hand painted oil painting on canvas and add lasting classic character to your living room. Custom sizes, a digital proof before dispatch, and secure worldwide shipping are included.
