Taking the Deer: The Duke of Atholl with Foresters - Edwin Henry Landseer - Wildlife Canvas Wall Art
Product Overview
Choose Taking the Deer: The Duke of Atholl with Foresters as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Edwin Henry Landseer's original. Our artists rebuild the wildlife composition stroke by stroke, producing timeless canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
The Story Behind the Painting
1824-1829
Oil on board
Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, United Kingdom.
As dining room wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other timeless wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Taking the Deer: The Duke of Atholl with Foresters by eye and build up the wildlife forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished wildlife oil painting its luminosity.
