Tegernsee Landscape with Man Reading and Dog - August Macke - Canvas Wall Art

At a Glance

Tegernsee Landscape with Man Reading and Dog - August Macke - Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a wildlife oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.

Composition & Subject

1910
Oil on canvas
Museum am Ostwall, Germany.

Every hand painted oil painting in this wildlife series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.

Materials & Craftsmanship

From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the wildlife brushwork visible and gives the expressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
