The Story Behind the Painting
1907
Oil on canvas
As bedroom wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of The Arrival of the Boats by Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida by eye and build up the landscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished landscape oil painting its luminosity.
