The Banks of the Seine at Mericourt - Albert Marquet - Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
The Banks of the Seine at Mericourt by Albert Marquet is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a hallway, study, or reception area.
Composition & Subject
Les bords de la Seine à Méricourt
Oil on Canvas
65.5 x 80.6 cm. (25.8 x 31.7 in.)
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of fauvist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for fauvist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the fine art tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed fine art oil painting simply cannot match.

Where to Hang It
fauvist canvas wall art is one of the easiest ways to warm a hallway. Pair this piece with natural linen, dark wood, or brushed brass, and let the hand painted surface do the rest.
