Product Overview

About the Artwork
'The Baron', Winner of the St Leger, 1845 has the kind of quiet presence that suits a hallway without dominating it after John Frederick Herring Sr. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the fine art forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside fine art oil painting and other timeless wall art.
How It Is Made
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of 'The Baron', Winner of the St Leger, 1845 by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
