Upgrade your walls with The Beethoven Frieze - Gustav Klimt - Canvas Oil Painting. Every fine art reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.
The Longing for Happiness. Left wall. 1902
Osterreichische Galerie Belvedere, Austria.
Detail from the first wall of the frieze depicting man's search of happiness. This section shows a naked man and woman praying for the knight (modelled on Gustav Mahler) who will set out in search of happiness. Behind the man and woman is a second woman who gazes on in contemplation. Above the knight other woman give the knight a laurel crown.
Collectors often choose this fine art image when searching for fine art oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
Materials matter for art nouveau wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
Style it over a fireplace, behind a reading chair, or along a staircase. Wherever it goes, this art nouveau oil painting wall decor adds the layered color that only a hand painted canvas provides.
