The Bourgeois Afternoon or The Terrasse Family - Pierre Bonnard - Post-Impressionist Fine Art Reproduction
About This Piece
The Bourgeois Afternoon or The Terrasse Family - Pierre Bonnard - Post-Impressionist Fine Art Reproduction suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a portrait oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a dining room gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
L'Apres-Midi Bourgeoise ou La Famille Terrasse au Grand-Lemps
1900
Oil on canvas
Musée d'Orsay, Paris, France.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
