The Cliffs of Greville (Les Falaises de Greville) - Jean-Francois Millet - Seascape Oil Painting
About This Piece
Looking for seascape oil painting with real brushwork? The Cliffs of Greville (Les Falaises de Greville) is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Jean-Francois Millet. The result is a piece of timeless oil painting wall decor that anchors a dining room and rewards a closer look.
About the Artwork
The Cliffs of Greville (Les Falaises de Greville) has the kind of quiet presence that suits a dining room without dominating it after Jean-Francois Millet. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the seascape forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside seascape oil painting and other timeless wall art.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of The Cliffs of Greville (Les Falaises de Greville) by eye and build up the seascape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished seascape oil painting its luminosity.
