The Crossroads, Pontoise (Place du Vieus Cimitiere) - Camille Pissarro - Oil Painting
Product Overview
Looking for fine art oil painting with real brushwork? The Crossroads, Pontoise (Place du Vieus Cimitiere) is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Camille Pissarro. The result is a piece of impressionist oil painting wall decor that anchors a dining room and rewards a closer look.
The Story Behind the Painting
1872
Oil on canvas
Carnegie Museum of Art, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this fine art series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
