For collectors searching fine art oil painting, The Dreamer (Ruins of the Oybin Monastery) is a dependable choice. Painted in layered oils on canvas after Caspar David Friedrich, this romantic work reads equally well as classic canvas wall art and as a thoughtful housewarming gift.
circa 1835
Oil on canvas
The State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.
As entryway wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other romantic wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of The Dreamer (Ruins of the Oybin Monastery) by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this fine art oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give an entryway an instant focal point. Its romantic palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
Order The Dreamer (Ruins of the Oybin Monastery) as a hand painted oil painting on canvas and add lasting romantic character to your entryway. Custom sizes, a digital proof before dispatch, and secure worldwide shipping are included.
