The English Channel at Grandcamp - George Seurat - Hand Painted Oil Painting
About This Piece
The English Channel at Grandcamp - George Seurat - Hand Painted Oil Painting brings gallery-caliber art into everyday spaces. This fine art oil painting is a 100% hand painted oil painting on canvas, created for buyers who want genuine post-impressionist canvas wall art instead of a mass-produced poster or paper print.
The Story Behind the Painting
1885
Oil on canvas
26 x 32 1/2 in.
The Museum of Modern Art, New York
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of post-impressionist oil painting wall decor.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Materials matter for post-impressionist wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
