The Grand Canal, Venice 1898-1899 - Maurice Brazil Prendergast - Oil Painting Wall Decor
About This Piece
Choose The Grand Canal, Venice 1898-1899 as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Maurice Brazil Prendergast's original. Our artists rebuild the seascape composition stroke by stroke, producing traditional canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
About the Artwork
1898-1899
watercolor and pencil on paper
Terra Museum of American Art, United States.
Every hand painted oil painting in this seascape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for traditional reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the seascape tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed seascape oil painting simply cannot match.
