Looking for fine art oil painting with real brushwork? The Great Swamp is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Martin Johnson Heade. The result is a piece of timeless oil painting wall decor that anchors a dining room and rewards a closer look.
The Great Swamp has the kind of quiet presence that suits a dining room without dominating it after Martin Johnson Heade. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the fine art forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside fine art oil painting and other timeless wall art.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of The Great Swamp by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this fine art oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a dining room an instant focal point. Its timeless palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
In short: The Great Swamp - Martin Johnson Heade - Oil Painting Wall Decor combines a timeless composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for fine art oil painting and dining room wall art.
