The Hold of a Fishing Vessel by Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida - Joaquin Sorolla - Canvas Oil Painting

Product Overview

The Hold of a Fishing Vessel by Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida - Joaquin Sorolla - Canvas Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a wildlife oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.

Composition & Subject

circa 1894
Oil on canvas
Museo Sorolla, Spain.

The wildlife subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.

100% Hand Painted on Canvas

Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
