The Louvre Embankment and the Pont-Neuf in Paris - Albert Marquet - Cityscape Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
The Louvre Embankment and the Pont-Neuf in Paris - Albert Marquet - Cityscape Canvas Wall Art suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a cityscape oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
1906
Oil on canvas
60 cm (23.62 in.) x 71 cm (27.95 in.)
The State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other fauvist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
We use a 100% hand-painted process: stretched artist-grade canvas, layered oil pigment, and a final protective varnish. There are no inkjet prints or mechanical reproductions in this collection — just a painted cityscape artwork made to order.
