The Nape of Misia's Neck - Edouard Vuillard - Fine Art Canvas Wall Art
About This Piece
For collectors searching fine art oil painting, The Nape of Misia's Neck is a dependable choice. Painted in layered oils on canvas after Edouard Vuillard, this post-impressionist work reads equally well as classic canvas wall art and as a thoughtful housewarming gift.
About the Artwork
1897-1899
Oil on paper mounted on cradled panel
Private collection.
As bedroom wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other post-impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for post-impressionist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the fine art tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed fine art oil painting simply cannot match.
