The Pont des Arts and the Institut de France - Pierre-Auguste Renoir - Impressionist Oil Painting
Product Overview
The Pont des Arts and the Institut de France - Pierre-Auguste Renoir - Impressionist Oil Painting suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a fine art oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a home office gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
The Story Behind the Painting
1867
Oil on canvas
Norton Simon Museum, United States.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
