The Story Behind the Painting
Le Pont Neuf et la Cité sous la neige, 1906
Oil on canvas
65 x 81 cm. (25.6 x 31.9 in.)
Collectors often choose this cityscape image when searching for cityscape oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
Materials & Craftsmanship
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the cityscape brushwork visible and gives the fauvist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
