The Public Gardens - Young Girls Playing - Edouard Vuillard - Canvas Oil Painting
About This Piece
Choose The Public Gardens - Young Girls Playing as a hand painted oil painting and skip the compromise of printed wall decor. Based on Edouard Vuillard's original. Our artists rebuild the figurative composition stroke by stroke, producing post-impressionist canvas wall art with lasting color depth.
The Story Behind the Painting
1894
Distemper on canvas
214.5 cm (84.45 in.) x 88 cm (34.65 in.)
Musée d'Orsay, France.
As entryway wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other post-impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
