The Story Behind the Painting
Le Quai de la Mégisserie à Paris
Every hand painted oil painting in this cityscape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of The Quai de la Megisserie in Paris by eye and build up the cityscape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished cityscape oil painting its luminosity.
