The Quai of the City Hall - Eugene Galien-Laloue - Oil Painting
Product Overview
From the first sketch to the final varnish, The Quai of the City Hall is made by hand. Based on Eugene Galien-Laloue's original. This traditional oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants cityscape oil painting with the character of an original.
The Story Behind the Painting
Quai de L'Hotel de Ville
The cityscape subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of traditional oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for traditional reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the cityscape tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed cityscape oil painting simply cannot match.
