The Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps Convalescent Home, Le Touquet - Sir John Lavery - Oil Painting
About This Piece
Looking for fine art oil painting with real brushwork? The Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps Convalescent Home, Le Touquet is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Sir John Lavery. The result is a piece of vintage oil painting wall decor that anchors an entryway and rewards a closer look.
The Story Behind the Painting
1919
Oil on canvas
Imperial War Museum, England.
As entryway wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other vintage wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
