The Raising of the Moorish Flag on the German Legation - Sir John Lavery - Hand Painted Oil Painting
At a Glance
Upgrade your walls with The Raising of the Moorish Flag on the German Legation - Sir John Lavery - Hand Painted Oil Painting. Every fine art reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.
About the Artwork
1920
Oil on canvas
63.5 cm (25 in.) x 76.5 cm (30.12 in.)
Private collection.
As living room wall decor, the piece pairs naturally with other vintage wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the vintage oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
