The Rest During the Harvest Season (Mountains of the Doubs) - Gustave Courbet - Canvas Oil Painting
Product Overview
The Rest During the Harvest Season (Mountains of the Doubs) by Gustave Courbet is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in a hallway, study, or reception area.
The Story Behind the Painting
1867
Oil on canvas
Musée du Petit Palais, France.
Our artists reproduce this landscape composition in oil on canvas by hand, preserving the tonal range that makes landscape oil painting so sought after for a hallway.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Each canvas is painted entirely by hand with professional oil paints on artist-grade cotton canvas. No printing, giclée, or digital imaging is used at any stage, so the surface keeps the slight relief and color variation of real brushwork.
What Is Included
- Painted entirely by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas, with no giclée or inkjet process involved.
