At a Glance
From the first sketch to the final varnish, The Ruins of the Chateau de Crozant 1899 is made by hand. Based on Armand Guillaumin's original. This impressionist oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
About the Artwork
circa 1899
Oil on canvas
Private collection.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
