The Ruins of the Chateau de Crozant (Sunset on the Creuse) - Armand Guillaumin - Entryway Wall Decor
About This Piece
The Ruins of the Chateau de Crozant (Sunset on the Creuse) by Armand Guillaumin is one of those images that never dates. Our studio recreates it as a hand painted oil painting — textured, color-rich, and ready to hang as canvas wall art in an entryway, study, or reception area.
The Story Behind the Painting
circa 1898
Oil on canvas
73 cm (28.74 in.) x 92 cm (36.22 in.)
Private collection.
Every hand painted oil painting in this landscape series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
