The Toilet (At Capri) - John William Waterhouse - Oil Painting
About This Piece
From the first sketch to the final varnish, The Toilet (At Capri) is made by hand. Based on John William Waterhouse's original. This pre-raphaelite oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
About the Artwork
1889
Oil on canvas
Private collection.
As gallery wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other pre-raphaelite wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of The Toilet (At Capri) by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
What Is Included
- Every fine art canvas is hand painted in oils; no mechanical or digital reproduction at any stage.
- An extra 2-inch blank border is left around all edges for easy stretching and framing.
- We dispatch worldwide ourselves, so there are no middlemen in the chain.
- Available canvas sizes for this hand painted oil painting: 20 X 24 in, 24 X 36 in, 30 X 40 in, 36 X 48 in, 48 X 72 in.
- Choose from standard sizes or request a custom dimension to fit your wall.
- Multiple low-cost carriers available, including DHL, UPS, FedEx and USPS.
- Complimentary stretching over wooden stretcher bars; ask us about a custom frame.
- We send a digital image of your fine art painting for approval before it ships.
Where to Hang It
Hang this fine art oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a gallery wall an instant focal point. Its pre-raphaelite palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
