From the first sketch to the final varnish, The Woman of Fashing is made by hand. Based on James Tissot's original. This classic oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants portrait oil painting with the character of an original.
The Story Behind the Painting
1883-1885
Oil on canvas
Private collection.
Collectors often choose this figurative image when searching for portrait oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Expect subtle, hand-made variation rather than factory uniformity. Each figurative canvas is painted with oils, allowed to cure properly, and inspected before it is approved for shipment.
