Three Tahitian Women against a Yellow Background - Paul Gauguin - Figurative Canvas Wall Art
At a Glance
Looking for portrait oil painting with real brushwork? Three Tahitian Women against a Yellow Background is reproduced by hand in oils on artist-grade canvas after Paul Gauguin. The result is a piece of post-impressionist oil painting wall decor that anchors a living room and rewards a closer look.
The Story Behind the Painting
1899
Oil on canvas
68 cm (26.77 in.) x 73.5 cm (28.94 in.)
The State Hermitage Museum, Russia.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the post-impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
