Product Overview

The Story Behind the Painting

Tuna Boats on the French Coast has the kind of quiet presence that suits a bedroom without dominating it after Edgar Alwin Payne. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the seascape forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside seascape oil painting and other timeless wall art.

Materials & Craftsmanship

This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Tuna Boats on the French Coast by eye and build up the seascape forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished seascape oil painting its luminosity.
