View from Hut, at Vaiala in Upolu, Bread Fruit Tree, War Drums and Canoe - John La Farge - Canvas Oil Painting

Product Overview

Upgrade your walls with View from Hut, at Vaiala in Upolu, Bread Fruit Tree, War Drums and Canoe - John La Farge - Canvas Oil Painting. Every still life reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.

The Story Behind the Painting

1890
watercolor and gouache over pencil on paper
McNay Art Museum, United States.

The still life subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of refined oil painting wall decor.

100% Hand Painted on Canvas

Materials matter for refined wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
