View of Pontoise, Quai du Pothuis - Camille Pissarro - Canvas Oil Painting
About This Piece
Upgrade your walls with View of Pontoise, Quai du Pothuis - Camille Pissarro - Canvas Oil Painting. Every fine art reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.
The Story Behind the Painting
1868
Oil on canvas
Staedtische Kunsthalle Mannheim, Germany.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of impressionist oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the fine art brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
