About This Piece
Woman and Child Sitting on a Hillside in Bretigny - Armand Guillaumin - Figurative Canvas Wall Art brings gallery-caliber art into everyday spaces. This portrait oil painting is a 100% hand painted oil painting on canvas, created for buyers who want genuine impressionist canvas wall art instead of a mass-produced poster or paper print.
The Story Behind the Painting
Femme et enfant assis sur un coteau à Bretigny, 1890
Oil on Canvas
73 x 92 cm. (28.7 x 36.2 in.)
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
Materials & Craftsmanship
From primer to varnish, the work is done manually on artist-grade canvas. The absence of digital printing is deliberate: it keeps the figurative brushwork visible and gives the impressionist oil painting wall decor a museum-like finish.
