Bathers, Banks of the Yerres (Swimmer) - Gustave Caillebotte - Figurative Canvas Wall Art
Product Overview
Upgrade your walls with Bathers, Banks of the Yerres (Swimmer) - Gustave Caillebotte - Figurative Canvas Wall Art. Every figurative reproduction is painted entirely by hand, so the surface carries the depth and variation of an original oil painting rather than the flatness of a digital canvas print.
The Story Behind the Painting
1877
pastel on paper
69 cm (27.17 in.) x 88.5 cm (34.84 in.)
Musée d'Orsay, Paris, France.
Every hand painted oil painting in this figurative series is finished on artist-grade canvas and checked against the original before it leaves the studio.
How It Is Made
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for impressionist reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the figurative tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed portrait oil painting simply cannot match.
