Bathing Boys (1897-1899) - Edvard Munch - Oil Painting is part of our hand painted oil painting collection from the Edvard Munch Paintings selection. Each canvas is worked by a trained artist, then inspected before dispatch — a practical route to owning expressionist wall decor at a fraction of gallery pricing.
1897-1899
Oil on canvas
71 cm (27.95 in.) x 58 cm (22.83 in.)
Private collection.
Collectors often choose this figurative image when searching for portrait oil painting that feels substantial rather than decorative or disposable.
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
For office wall decor that does not feel generic, a painted figurative canvas is hard to beat. It is a popular portrait oil painting pick for new homeowners and a durable alternative to seasonal poster art.
