Bust of an Old Man with a Beret - Rembrandt van Rijn - Dining Room Wall Art
About This Piece
From the first sketch to the final varnish, Bust of an Old Man with a Beret is made by hand. Based on Rembrandt van Rijn's original. This classical oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
About the Artwork
circa 1630-1631
Oil on canvas
Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery, The Hague, Netherlands.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of classical oil painting wall decor.
Materials & Craftsmanship
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Bust of an Old Man with a Beret by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
