Dancing on the Banks of the Manzanares - Francisco de Goya - Canvas Wall Art
Product Overview
From the first sketch to the final varnish, Dancing on the Banks of the Manzanares is made by hand. Based on Francisco de Goya's original. This classical oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
About the Artwork
1776-1777
Oil on canvas
272 cm (107.09 in.) x 295 cm (116.14 in.)
Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid, Spain.
One of a series of paintings Goya created to be used as compositions for tapestries. These were manufactured at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Santa Barbara, Madrid, and were commissioned for the Prince of Asturias (later Carlos IV) palace El Pardo, Madrid.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of classical oil painting wall decor.
100% Hand Painted on Canvas
Oil on canvas remains the reference standard for classical reproductions. Our artists apply pigment by hand, blending the fine art tones directly on the surface for depth that a printed fine art oil painting simply cannot match.
