David and Uriah (Haman Recognises His Fate) - Rembrandt van Rijn - Hand Painted Oil Painting
Product Overview
From the first sketch to the final varnish, David and Uriah (Haman Recognises His Fate) is made by hand. Based on Rembrandt van Rijn's original. This classical oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
The Story Behind the Painting
1665
Oil on canvas
127 cm (50 in.) x 116 cm (45.67 in.)
The State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia.
The fine art subject is rebuilt stroke by stroke in oil, giving the finished canvas the depth expected of classical oil painting wall decor.
How It Is Made
Trained artists work in stages — underpainting, mid-tones, highlights, and detail — using traditional oils on canvas. Because nothing is printed, every hand painted oil painting has its own subtle texture and depth.
