For collectors searching portrait oil painting, Figure with a Persian Robe is a dependable choice. Painted in layered oils on canvas after Henri Matisse, this fauvist work reads equally well as classic canvas wall art and as a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Figure with a Persian Robe has the kind of quiet presence that suits a gallery wall without dominating it after Henri Matisse. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the figurative forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside portrait oil painting and other fauvist wall art.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of Figure with a Persian Robe by eye and build up the figurative forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished portrait oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this portrait oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give a gallery wall an instant focal point. Its fauvist palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
Order Figure with a Persian Robe as a hand painted oil painting on canvas and add lasting fauvist character to your gallery wall. Custom sizes, a digital proof before dispatch, and secure worldwide shipping are included.
