Fishermen on the Banks of the Yerres - Gustave Caillebotte - Oil Painting for Hallway
Product Overview
Fishermen on the Banks of the Yerres - Gustave Caillebotte - Oil Painting for Hallway suits both traditional and modern interiors. As a wildlife oil painting, it works as a standalone focal point or as part of a hallway gallery wall, and unlike a print it is genuinely hand painted in oils.
Composition & Subject
circa 1876
Oil on canvas
Private collection.
As hallway wall art, the piece pairs naturally with other impressionist wall art and with warm neutrals, timber, and soft natural light.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Materials matter for impressionist wall decor. That is why this piece is built on artist-grade canvas with lightfast oil colors, applied by hand rather than output from a printer, and sealed for long-term display.
