From the first sketch to the final varnish, General of Infantry Christopher Roop is made by hand. Based on Boris Kustodiev's original. This timeless oil painting wall decor is crafted on artist-grade canvas for anyone who wants fine art oil painting with the character of an original.
General of Infantry Christopher Roop has the kind of quiet presence that suits an entryway without dominating it after Boris Kustodiev. Our artists work from the original image in stages, building the fine art forms in oil on canvas. The finished piece sits comfortably alongside fine art oil painting and other timeless wall art.
This is a genuine hand painted oil painting, not a canvas print. Our painters match the palette of General of Infantry Christopher Roop by eye and build up the fine art forms in thin layers, which is what gives the finished fine art oil painting its luminosity.
Hang this fine art oil painting above a sofa, console, or bed to give an entryway an instant focal point. Its timeless palette works with both minimalist and period interiors, and the piece also makes a considered gift for housewarmings, weddings, and art lovers.
In short: General of Infantry Christopher Roop - Boris Kustodiev - Hand Painted Oil Painting combines a timeless composition, a 100% hand painted oil painting process, and the flexibility of made-to-order canvas sizes — a dependable choice for fine art oil painting and entryway wall decor.
